Consulting

Technical consulting connected to the use of OptPump — the software is the primary activity; consulting applies it to a client's specific network and data.

Services

  • Network analysis. Reviewing a client's EPANET model and operating data for consistency and completeness before optimisation.
  • Demand profiling. Building representative demand patterns from metered or historical flow data.
  • Tariff-aware pump scheduling. Applying OptPump against the client's actual time-of-use tariff structure.
  • Lifecycle cost (LCC) and ROI/NPV analysis. Comparing options over the equipment's service life, not just upfront price.
  • Energy-efficiency review of pumping systems. Data-driven review of operating regimes against best-efficiency-point behaviour.
  • Custom analytical tooling and dashboards. Extending the software's analysis and reporting for a specific client's needs.

How it works

The service model is simple: the client sends their network model (an EPANET .inp file) and tariff structure, the analysis is run, and a report quantifying the estimated annual savings and hydraulic feasibility is delivered.

This is software-based data analysis and modelling — not a substitute for licensed engineering design, site supervision, or plant certification. Where a client's project requires those, they remain the responsibility of the appropriately licensed professional.
